Made by someone with ADHD. Built for anyone to-do lists don’t work for.

Every to-do app I tried lasted two weeks.

Lists turned into guilt, reminders into noise, streaks into a reason to quit. So I built Flamesitter. It asks one question a night, and progress only goes up.

For the things you want to get done, big or small: a study goal, a novel, a side quest, a business. With a fixed deadline, your own, or none at all.

Why Flamesitter

Why the usual tools never stuck for me

Just what kept happening to me. If some of it sounds familiar, Flamesitter might suit you too.

How it works

One question a night. The rest builds itself.

Flamesitter's Timeline on iPhone: a week of check-ins for four projects, with flames for worked days and stars for milestones.

Temperature, not streaks

A 2 h+ day makes a project Hot; a shorter one, Warm. Tapping “Not today” cools it slowly: a week of them turns it Cold, three weeks Frozen. Unanswered nights and rest days don’t count. One day of work warms it right back up.

  • Hot
  • Warm
  • Cold
  • Frozen

Fire levels that only grow

Hit a milestone? Mark it ★. Each project’s fire grows with its milestones, from Spark to Bonfire, and never shrinks.

  • Spark1 ★
  • Glow2 ★
  • Flame4 ★
  • Campfire8 ★
  • Bonfire16 ★

Tap “When?” to build your rhythm

On a worked day, tap when it happened. Over a few weeks, Stats shows the days and times your work actually gets done.

What Flamesitter isn’t

Not a calendar, a to-do list or a reminder app.

And it isn’t treatment. Keep those for meetings, bills and chores. Flamesitter is for the projects you care about, like a study goal or a side quest, so they don’t quietly slip when life gets busy.
